Sometimes you'll see something that makes you wonder, "Why OH WHY wasn't that around when I was a kid?". Recently, I experienced that at Sky Zone. It looks like Sky Zone Trampoline Park in Rocklin, is a wall-to-wall enjoyment that can be heavily addictive with its wall-to-wall aerial jumping action! A full-on indoor park dedicated to jumping action for the whole family. Wow!!! This place is a must-see. Here's what's going on there.

Take a leap like nobody's watching.

When I first visited Sky Zone, I had no idea what to expect. Because I wanted to be totally surprised, I didn't even look at the website first. Truth is even if I had checked out the website, I wouldn't have been prepared for how amazing this place is! Once inside it's doors, I said (to myself because my grandson wasn't with me) W O W!!! Really, this place is huge and gives you excited feels right from the start. Then you go around the corner and see two GIGANTIC trampoline courts after taking care of all the formalities like paying for the session and getting your feet in gear (or out of gear as it is definitely a Sky Zone-socks-only place). As these trampoline courts are above floor level (which totally makes sense given their nature), the excitement level increases when you have to climb up those steps. While there are plenty of opportunities to take action, SAFETY should always come first.

Safety First Followed by Fun.

At Sky Zone, everyone is welcome to jump in on the fun, but safety is a top priority. All jumpers are required to follow safety rules, regardless of what is offered. As a parent of a 10-year-old, you may want to jump with your child, but each jumping session sorts people by size and age. As a safety precaution, team members may move jumpers to a different court or section of the court. It's a good thing.

What's Hop-ening at Skyzone?

Aside from freestyle jumping (since reservations are highly recommended), there's Ultimate Dodgeball - everyone's favorite childhood playground game! Imagine throwing that old dodge ball (maybe not the one from your childhood because that one's long gone) while everyone around you is jumping and diving to swerve or tag one another! There's this crazy-fun place called Foam Zone where you can jump into a foam pool and do your favorite daring stunts. When someone tells you to take a flying leap, you should do it. Hah, take that! There's something called Sky Slam. A warped wall can also be climbed. See it to believe it. Looks awesome!

At Sky Zone, you can do more than jump

Besides jumping like you mean it at Sky Zone, there are special programs available, such as SKYience. Almost all kids learn concepts more easily when they can feel them. For late elementary and middle school students, this class combines the study of forces with movement training. Students analyze graphs, collect and record data, and draw conclusions. A skymarketing class is an activity based class that is designed for high school aged children to learn marketing techniques related to trampoline parks and other activities. Adults can jump and burn at least 1000 calories during Skyfit Class, a one-hour exercise class. Toddler Time and Character Toddler Time are also available! In the regular toddler session, toddlers can jump all they want without other toddlers (please, is there anything cuter?) under the supervision of their parents, and Character Toddler Time includes photos, superhero training, face-painting, and loads of fun for kids up to 6 years old. Then there's Glow, a special session where jumpers don glow in the dark shirts and socks while the place becomes a dance club (that is, jump/dance). In addition, a youth group night is available, as are overnight lock-ins and birthday party rental packages.

Now that you know what Sky Zone is all about, you gotta try it. Though walk-ins are welcomed, you are best served by making a reservation online to ensure you get to jump.
